What We Do
Our Rotary Club brings people together to create lasting change. In North Philadelphia, we strengthen communities through education, support for local businesses, and hands-on projects that improve neighborhoods and protect the environment. Globally, we provide clean water, improve school facilities, and support children’s health and safety in the Dominican Republic. Guided by “Service Above Self “we empower individuals and communities both near and far.
Education
Our Rotary Club is committed to empowering the next generation through education. In North Philadelphia, we partner with local schools to provide scholarships that help high school students pursue higher education and achieve their dreams. Beyond financial support, we engage directly with students and the community through mentorship and hands-on projects that create safe, nurturing environments for learning and growth.
Internationally, we extend this commitment to the Dominican Republic by working with schools to provide essential resources—from first aid kits to safe and welcoming playgrounds—so that children can learn, play, and thrive. By investing in education both locally and globally, we aim to break down barriers, open doors of opportunity, and strengthen communities for the future.
Clean Water & WASH
Access to clean water is a fundamental right, yet many communities still face barriers to this basic necessity. Our Rotary Club is helping close that gap through our work in the Dominican Republic, where we support WASH (Water, Sanitation, and Hygiene) initiatives. Together with local partners, we are funding and implementing a well project to bring clean, reliable water to schools and families. These efforts not only improve health outcomes but also give children more time to focus on their education and their future.

In North Philadelphia, our club works alongside neighbors, schools, and businesses to strengthen the community through a range of initiatives.
